KEYWESTFLORIDA home of the “Fighting Conchs” Football team of the KEYWEST highschool. The most Southern point of the states is also located in KEYWESTFLORIDA.
The White Street Pier located on the East side of KEYWESTFLORIDA is known for folks staying out all night long fishing and chatting on their CB radio’s.
There is the military beach and compounds located in KEYWESTFLORIDA as well. Back when Kennedy was president and Castro was a threat the Naval Air Station and the military compounds were ready and set up for the Cuban Misile Crisis.
KEYWESTFLORIDA is well known for its historic qualities. Besides the Cuban Misile Crisis there’s the Home of the infamous Ernest Hemmingway, which still houses his four toed cats, and Sloppy Joes Bar where he frequented and did most of his writing.
While there is many tourist attractions i.e. The Conch Train that takes you around the island, and the charter fishing boats, as well as the night life of KEYWESTFLORIDA, there too is beautiful realestate all along the keys. There are the old Conch Houses, New Condominium’s are building up, Apartments old and new, and Manufactured Mobile Homes too. You will see homes built up on stilts due to the possible flooding during Hurricane season, especially those properties that are on the waterfronts and canals.
